Tiger Shroff, son of actor Jackie Shroff and Ayesha, was born on 2 March 1990. He also has a younger sister named Krishna. He was born Jai Hemant Shroff, but changed his name to Tiger when he debuted in the film industry. 2014's Heropanti was Tiger Shroff's debut film. The Baaghi films, A Flying Jatt, Munna Michael are some of his other movies.

Tiger Shroff did his schooling at American School of Bombay. He is awarded honorary fifth degree black belt in Taekwondo.

Tiger Shroff made his film debut with Sajid Nadiadwala's Heropanti (2014), opposite actress Kriti Sanon. Despite poor reviews, his debut performance was hailed by the cine-goers. Tiger Shroff also earned a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut nomination.

After two years, Tiger Shroff appeared in Sabbir Khan's action-drama Baaghi along with Shraddha Kapoor and the film turned out to be a box office success.

His next release of 2016 was Remo D'Souza's superhero film A Flying Jatt with Jacqueline Fernandez. A Flying Jatt proved to be a box office dud.

In 2017, Tiger Shroff collaborated with debutante Nidhhi Agerwal for Munna Michael, directed by Sabbir Khan. This film too failed to impress the audience.

2018's Baaghi 2, sequel to Baaghi, broke major records at the box office. Tiger Shroff was paired opposite rumoured girlfriend Disha Patani in the Ahmed Khan-directed film.

Student Of The Year 2 with Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria was Tiger Shroff's 2019 release. The film has been directed by Punit Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The film is a sequel to Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra's 2012 film of the same name.

After Student Of The Year 2, Tiger Shroff featured in Yash Raj Films' War alongside Hrithik Roshan and Vaani Kapoor. Directed by Siddharth Anand the film broke many records at the box office.

Tiger Shroff will next be seen in the third instalment of the Baaghi series. He will feature opposite Shraddha Kapoor in the film, which will also star Riteish Deshmukh.
